About

Small studio, single standard

NICOLETA CREȚU is the kind of studio you hope for when you're tired of disappearing editors: reachable, honest about timelines, and quietly good at the work.

The studio

Started from a simple annoyance

NICOLETA CREȚU began in 2019 as a reaction to a familiar problem: editors who vanish mid-project, promise dates they can't keep, and blame the footage when it goes wrong. We decided to run the opposite way — one editor, every project, in writing.

Today the studio works with filmmakers, photographers, agencies and creators in fourteen countries. It stays deliberately small. When you write to us, you're writing to the person who will cut your film — not a dispatcher.

  • Based in Drochia, Moldova; clients everywhere
  • English-first communication, timezone-friendly
  • Every brief and quote documented in writing
Principles

What we hold ourselves to

One

Say what you'll do

Fixed quotes, written scope, a real calendar. If we can't hit your date, we say so before you pay, not after.

Two

Do it properly

Pacing, sound, color — the unglamorous work that separates a cut from a sequence of clips. No shortcuts, no presets.

Three

Respect the material

Your footage is confidential, handled securely, and never reused. Trust is the only thing we're actually selling.

Behind the name

NICOLETA CREȚU

Editor & Colorist · Founder, NICOLETA CREȚU

Nicoleta has spent more than six years behind the timeline — documentaries, commercials, music videos and creator work. Every project goes through a single consistent hand on every cut: the same editor and colorist from first frame to final master.

Off the clock: shooting test footage to build LUTs, studying light, and reading more camera manuals than is healthy.
